What We Did
We started our work with a comprehensive review of the site architecture, at which point it became clear there were several problems inhibiting the performance of the shop. We prepared a revised site architecture plan that was much more closely aligned with how people search for the products and brands the company sells and was designed to eliminate the substantial volume of duplicate product and brand content within the site.
Working closely with the developer of the site and the client we oversaw the re-structure of the site, advised on a range of organic search engine optimisation strategies, advised on the development of unique content and made a number of technical recommendations specific to the Magento Platform the site operates on.
Thus far the organic search ranking positions have increased and the subsequent traffic to the site has risen substantially to 300% of the levels seen before our campaign started. Sales have increased in line with the increases in traffic and the client now has a robust plan in place for adding new product and brand content.
